Each of the 31 projects in the Our Bright Future portfolio is managed and run by different specialist agencies or organisations.
Our Bright Future is funded by the Big Lottery Fund which supports the aspirations of people who want to make life better for their communities across the UK. The Big Lottery Fund is responsible for giving out 40% of the money raised by the National Lottery and investing more than £650 million a year into projects in health, education, environment and charitable purposes.
The Our Bright Future Youth Forum is made up of young people from Our Bright Future projects all over the UK. Meeting in person once a year, Youth Forum members keep up with with the group through online discussions and social media. They discuss ideas, opinions and experiences and work together as advocates for the wider Our Bright Future campaign.
It is the ideas and opinions of members that will shape the direction that the Youth Forum will take in the following months, creating a network of environmentally minded individuals, and influencing the Our Bright Future programme as a whole.
The Our Bright Future Youth Forum is designing and will be leading on an environmental digital campaign. This campaign will engage and inform others, make an impact, and offer all those involved the best experience possible.
