18 year old Ajai is studying aeronautical engineering at college. In his spare time he volunteers at National Trust’s Morden Hall; improving the park and benefiting the community where he grew up. He admits that although he has lived here for years, he didn’t know who looked after the park. He really enjoys making bottle rockets that are used to select random sample sites for surveying wildflower meadows, because this taps into his college work!
‘The main difference is before I didn’t know what I could do to help the environment, now I definitely know what I can do.’
