19 year old Beth is passionate about encouraging others to grow their own food. She hates food waste and is an avid ‘dumpster diver’. She enjoyed getting out of Manchester to do gleaning in the fresh air. Volunteering with From Farm to Fork gave her hands-on experience and knowledge that will help her in her ambition of setting up a food growing project with homeless people in her community. Taking part in gleaning activities helped improve her wellbeing and combat loneliness in the big city.
