19 year old Thomas joined the My World My Home project when he was doing his AS levels at Nottingham College. From the outset he was a driving force behind the environmental campaigns. He met with his Principal to negotiate permission for a planting space to green the campus. The college is also now committed to removing plastic coffee cups from the canteen, thanks to Thomas’s persistence. His passion and momentum for campaigning has snowballed and he has been to demonstrations in London, recruited new students to My World My Home and successfully stood for election as the Student Union’s Vice President for Equality and Diversity.
