19 year old Declan joined My World My Home as a law student at City of Bristol College. He wants to be a solicitor and was quick to see how the law can be used in environmental campaigning. He was especially interested in the Friends of the Earth legal case against the expansion of Heathrow Airport. He has learnt more about the need to limit the UK’s carbon emissions. He used this knowledge to lobby his college’s MP to publicly state her opposition to the expansion of Bristol Airport, which she did to a large crowd in London!
