Eoghan Real Stories 600x600
24 year old student, Eoghan always enjoyed hiking and climbing so he was excited to join Belfast Hills Bright Future. The project supported his research and he investigated footpath erosion in the Belfast Hills. He was so passionate about the area that he set up the Belfast Hills Society at his university, spreading the word with other students. He completed his John Muir Explorer Award and his confidence and project management skills were developed. He is now working towards his MSc in Sustainable Leadership.
‘Belfast Hills Partnership provided an opportunity to actively protect and enhance these wild places on my door step whilst meeting hilarious, dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers who made volunteer days a blast!’
