Farid at Green Leaders

18 year old Farid found out about Green Leaders through the youth club he attended in Manchester. As he was studying for a BTEC Science Level 3 Extended Diploma at college he thought it would complement his course. Through Green Leaders he was able to do work experience in the Groundwork office. This helped him decide that he’d like to do Environmental Management at university. He was accepted on the course at the University of Manchester and is already planning to do a Masters in Health and Safety.

‘I’m definitely more environmentally aware since being a Green Leader. I’m mad on recycling in my house now’.
