Francis at Our Wild Coast

20 year old Francis is a student at Bangor University. He got involved in Our Wild Coast and worked with other young people at the project to secure funding from Grow Wild for the creation of a marine-themed wildflower garden. Our Wild Coast also ran a series of events to enable people to plant wildflowers at home. As part of his studies he needed to find a placement. Through his Our Wild Coast links Francis was able to secure a six-week work experience placement at the Grow Wild office in Kew Gardens! This involved office tasks and taking part in a range of events. He really enjoyed being given the creative freedom to make talking flowerpots for events with inbuilt MP3 players!
