Helena Feedback Individual 600x600
22 year old Helena attended an apple gleaning day with From Farm to Fork because she thought it was horrible that food is wasted whilst people still go hungry. She then got involved in apple pressing and juice making workshops. She felt that these experiences helped her understand the causes and impacts of food waste and influence her career choices. As a talented chef she has worked in high-end restaurants. Following her experience at From Farm to Fork she now feels that she would be more considered in decided where to work based on their food waste policies.

‘Taking apples and making something at home for friends is the best way to communicate the ideas around food waste. You’ve involving people in the movement without just telling them something’
