Phoebe Real Stories Shropshire Wildlife Trust
18 year old Phoebe got involved in Growing Confidence during her gap year. She’d always been interested in wildlife and was really excited about the project after she heard about it through her college. At the project she runs events and does practical conservation. Her favourite activity was enticing lace weaver spiders out of their webs with an electric toothbrush! She has learnt to identify lots of species and can now add many new skills to her CV including a John Muir Award.
‘Growing Confidence is enabling me to explore the local environment in a way a couldn’t do by myself.’
