The UpRising Environmental Leadership Programme (ELP) was a nine month, part-time leadership development programme for 18-24 year olds. The programme consisted of an
introductory leadership weekend, knowledge sessions with high-level professionals and skills sessions from specialist trainers.
The latter part of the programme saw participants form smaller groups to work on a social action campaign of their choice, with the aim of making an impact in the community. They were also provided with the opportunity to apply for one-to-one training and personal development sessions delivered by a coach and mentor.
The UpRising ELP first started delivering in London, Birmingham and Manchester in
2016 and subsequently expanded delivery into Cardiff and Bedfordshire.
